Mike & Donna are the Owners of Sue Smith Vacations, purchasing the company some seven years ago from the founder, Sue Smith. Prior to purchasing the company they owned First Discount Travel of North Little Rock, which was managed by Donna. Mike is a Certified Travel Associate and a CPA with 26 years experience as an executive in the insurance industry prior to entering the travel industry. In January 2001, Mike and Donna also purchased Cruise Advisor's International Inc. in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Cruise Advisors was merged into the Sue Smith Vacations Hot Springs Village office and now operates as Vacation Valet. Vacation Valet also owns Jazz Club at Sea which specializes in organizing jazz cruises.

Kristol  travels each year with the Jazz Club At Sea.  This year marks the 10th Annual Jazz Party At Sea and features over 40 world class musicians performing 100 hours of jazz during the week. This year's extravaganza will be held onboard the m/s Norwegian Sun sailing from Port Canaveral November 6 - 13, 2010. I invite you to join me.

In addition to working with her long time clients from around the United States, Kristol also works with the Arkansas Retired Teachers Association planning and booking their travel.

A native of Germany who lived in Switzerland before coming to the US, Ingrid Gehrung is a Certified Travel Consultant.  She has 28 years experience in the travel business and has been with Vacation Valet for 9 years.  She has traveled to destinations worldwide including Europe, Africa, China, Russia, Tahiti, and many more.

Ann began her career in travel with Eastern Airlines working in reservations at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago and then at the Milwaukee airport as a gate agent.  During the years of raising a family she worked part time as a travel agent in Oak Park and River Forest, Ill Prior to going back into the travel agency end of the business full time, Ann served time with a tour company in Oak Brook, Ill. that specialized in travel to Iran and Iraq.  The next 8 years found her in Naperville, Ill. working as group coordinator and escort for a large agency group department.  During this time she also taught the travel course that was offered at College of DuPage. Relocating to Carmel, Ind. in ‘84 Ann was the cruise manager for 10 years at established travel agency and once again taught at a travel school in Indianapolis. While in Indiana, she served as President of Indiana Women in Travel. Ann met Sue Smith on a trip in Hawaii and in retirement Ann joined up with Sue Smith Vacations on a part time basis. Ann continues to take care of her travel clients throughout the country that she has served over these many years. Ann has taken a real liking to sailing vessels and enjoys traveling with the locals whether it is Ireland by car staying at country homes, renting a home in the hills of Coral Bay, in St. John or inTuscany staying at vineyards run by the locals.  Ann and Woody have been blessed to have found lifelong friends in their travels. Two couples of which she and her husband recently rented a self drive boat with.  They had glorious two weeks navigating the canals of Southern France.  Soon they will be off with 21 family members for a week on board the Emerald Princess for a reunion in the Caribbean for more rich travel memories.
