Kathy has been the manager of Sue Smith Vacations for the past 9 years. Kathy has earned Specialist Certifications for Mexico, Hawaii, Disney and the Caribbean including Grand Cayman, Jamaica, Sandals all-inclusive Resorts, Dominican Republic and most recently her certification in Culinary Travel in Italy. Kathy, Mike and Donna for the past 5 years have escorted some amazing Christian faith-based pilgrimages to Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Bavaria and Jordan.

Expert Bio

Kathy has 20 years in the travel business with 15 of those years at Sue Smith Vacations. She has traveled extensively throughout Hawaii, to the Caribbean, and Europe. Kathy has sent couples on dream honeymoons and has planned weddings in exotic destinations around the world.

My Recent Trips

I escorted Pilgrimages to Italy with emphasis on Rome in 2007 and 2008. My greatest thrill was seeing Pope Benedict in person; we were close enough to shake his hand and have our picture made with him. I have recently put together Catholic Pilgrimages to Poland, Fatima and Lourdes in 2007-09. Our most current journey, August 2010, will be to see the passion play in Oberammergau held ONCE every 10 years.
